Donald Glover is what some people call a quadruple threat: he tells jokes, he acts, he writes, and he raps. Aside from his current and possibly most well-known role as Troy Barnes in NBC’s Community, Donald’s past and current projects include being part of the internet sketch comedy group Derrick Comedy, writing for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and 30 Rock, and emceeing under the pseudonym Childish Gambino (a name he got from a Wu-Tang Clan name generator).
The 27-year-old is undoubtedly a rising star. A rising star I desperately want to be friends with. Here’s a list of just a few reasons why:
